Nepal Bill Lottery

The Nepal bill lottery is the Inland Revenue Department taxpayer incentive. It applies to a PAN or VAT bill (कर बिजक) from a personal purchase over Rs. 100. The department publishes winning coupons on prize.ird.gov.np. This site lists those coupons so you can check a bill. It does not run the draw or pay prizes.

Which bill can enter the Nepal bill lottery

A bill can enter when it is a real tax invoice for a personal purchase of goods or services over Rs. 100, and the seller’s PAN or VAT number is printed on it. Commercial purchases, transport, airfare, and slips from sellers without PAN or VAT do not enter.

The paper bill does not include a lottery number. The department creates the coupon. A QR or card payment is entered on its own, and the coupon is the transaction reference in your bank or wallet. A cash bill is entered only after you register it at prize.ird.gov.np, before the fortnight dated on that bill ends.

How to check a Nepal bill lottery result

Search the coupon on the results pages. Each fortnight has its own page: one draw covers the 1st to the 15th, and the next covers the 16th through the end of the month. Daily prizes are Rs. 100,000. The bumper prize is Rs. 10,00,000. Both amounts are before a 25 percent tax.

If the coupon is on the list, claim at an Inland Revenue Office within 15 days of the announcement. Take the original bill, an identity document, and bank details. A photo stored on this site does not replace the original bill.

Nepal bill lottery and the other names for this draw

People also search for this draw as the Nepal tax lottery and the Nepal receipt lottery. Those names refer to the same Inland Revenue Department programme. A tax invoice and a qualifying shop receipt follow the same rule: a personal purchase over Rs. 100 with PAN or VAT.
